- Homemade simple syrup, simply sugar and water.

Bring to a simmer. Remove from heat and stir until sugar is completely dissolved and liquid is clear. Cool and bottle. Refrigerate for up to 6 weeks.
- Zest lemon or cut some decorate pieces off the rind, then juice lemon.
- Combine lemon juice and simple syrup in a large pitcher.
- Add chilled vodka and unsweetened coconut water to pitcher.
- Top with ice when ready to serve and garnish with lemon.

This is so my kind of drink! In a pitcher, a glass a jar, with a straw — I’ll take it any which way. And yes, would be so lovely during the summer. I’m thinking poolside. 😉

You’re so spot on. This is delish anytime, but especially with the warm sun on your face 🙂

This looks gorgeous and sounds delicious! I love that every part is homemade and I love the step by step photos. I’ve always wanted to make simple syrup, not sure why haha.
ONE armed MAMA
I love simple syrup! Especially because it’s so easy and also super customizable to whatever you have on hand, and whatever fruits are nearing too ripe that you want to prevent wasting.

Oooh, sounds like a great time! And yes, for some reason as soon as citrus season starts to maybe hint into turning to spring all I want is coconut-lemon EVERYTHING.

Made a trial run this evening as I need something to present at our company event tomorrow evening. This is really nice! Not too sweet a nice lil twinge of tart from lemon:-) The organic coconut unflavored unsweetened water I use has a slight pink hue to it which I’m told is due to varying antioxidant levels presents this drink beautifully! I’m sipping this drink as I write and yup it’s a WINNER!! Will be proud to take this and share:-) Thank you most kindly for sharing!!
Salud to ALL!
