Ingredients
- Ground beef
- Burger seasonings – garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, worcestershire sauce
- Gouda cheese – shredded
- Burger buns – brioche or any hamburger bun you have.
- Burger toppings – chili onion jam, arugula, pickled vegetables, crispy fried onions or whatever ideas for burger toppings you have.

Step by step instructions
- Season ground beef and form into 4 thin patties.
- Separate shredded cheese into 4 equal portions and tightly press each portion into a flat disc. Place one cheese disc into the center of each of the burger patties, bringing edges of patties up and around the cheese disc, pressing on the top to seal and form thick burger patties.
- Cook burgers until evenly browned.
- Serve on toasted buns with the burger toppings.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 ounces gouda shredded
- 4 medium burger buns
- ¼ cup chili onion jam
- ½ cup baby arugula
- ¼ cup pickled vegetables
- ¼ cup fried onions
Instructions
- In a medium bowl combine ground beef and seasonings. Form mixture into 4 thin patties.1 pound ground beef, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper

- In a large cast iron pan, or barbeque, over medium heat, cook burger patties until evenly browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until beef registers 130-165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Toast buns if desired, then add chili onion jam to bottom bun. Top with a pile of arugula then burger patty.
