Ingredients
- Cilantro leaves
- Mint leaves
- Garlic
- Ginger root
- Fresh lemon juice
- Thai green chili – or other fresh spicy chili pepper
- Granulated sugar
- Salt – to taste
- Water – as needed
Step by step instructions
- Add herbs, garlic, ginger, chili pepper, sugar and lemon juice to blender or food processor.
- Pulse to combine.
- Then blend smooth, adding water as needed to loosen.
- Season to taste with salt.
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

- 1 ½ cups cilantro leaves
- ½ cup mint leaves
- 2 cloves garlic
- ½ teaspoon fresh ginger grated
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 small thai green chili
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- ¼ cup water if needed
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Prepare ingredients, removing seeds from chili if desired. Or leaving the seeds in for a more authentic spicy flavor.1 small thai green chili
- Add all ingredients except water and salt to a food processor or high powered blender and blend smooth.1 ½ cups cilantro leaves, ½ cup mint leaves, 2 cloves garlic, ½ teaspoon fresh ginger, 2 teaspoons lemon juice, 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, as needed to loosen just enough to blend smooth.¼ cup water
