Ingredients

cilantro leaves

cup
mint leaves

cloves
garlic

teaspoon
fresh ginger
grated

teaspoons
lemon juice

thai green chili

teaspoon
granulated sugar

water
if needed
salt
to taste
Instructions
Prepare ingredients, removing seeds from chili if desired. Or leaving the seeds in for a more authentic spicy flavor.
1 small thai green chili
Add all ingredients except water and salt to a food processor or high powered blender and blend smooth.
1 ½ cups cilantro leaves,
½ cup mint leaves,
2 cloves garlic,
½ teaspoon fresh ginger,
2 teaspoons lemon juice,
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, as needed to loosen just enough to blend smooth.

Season chutney to taste with salt.

Transfer to covered storage container and store refrigerated for up to 7 days. Or freeze for up to 3 months.
