Lemon Dill Sauce makes a perfect accompaniment to salmon and other seafood, pasta, lamb, chicken, roasted vegetables and more!

Ingredients
2tablespoonsbuttersalted, divided
1mediumwhite onionfinely diced
1clovegarlicminced
¼cupwhite wine
2tablespoonlemon juice
¼cupfresh dillstems and fronds, chopped
¼teaspoonsalt
¼teaspoonblack pepper
Instructions
In a small to medium saucepan over medium heat high heat sauté diced onion in butter until onion is translucent and soft and starting to brown slightly on the edges, about 5-7 minutes.

Stir in chopped garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Then add wine, to deglaze. Stir in lemon juice and simmer until slightly reduced, about 3 minutes.
¼ cup white wine, 2 tablespoon lemon juice
Carefully transfer mixture to a food processor or blender. Add dill stems and leaves and process until smooth.

Then return sauce to pan and bring back to a simmer stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low to keep warm and swirl in remaining 1 tablespoon butter until melted. Season to taste with salt and pepper and keep warm over low heat until ready to use.
