Ingredients
1cupgranulated sugar
½cupunsalted butter
½cupgrated appletightly packed, heaping
½teaspoonvanilla extract
2cupsall purpose flour
1teaspoonsalt
1teaspoonbaking powder
1teaspoonbaking soda
cinnamon sugar coating
2tablespoonsgranulated sugar
¼teaspooncinnamon
⅛teaspoonnutmeg
⅛teaspooncloves
Instructions
Peel, core and grate apple using the large holes of a box grater.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
½ cup unsalted butter, 1 cup granulated sugar
Add shredded apple and vanilla extract. Beat well to combine.
½ cup grated apple, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Whisk flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda in a large bowl to combine. Then stir flour mixture into the apple cookie dough. Mix well.
2 cups all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon baking soda
On a small plate stir together 2 tablespoons of sugar, with cinnamon and nutmeg. Then drop small dough balls into cinnamon sugar mixture and roll to coat.
