Ingredients
3tablespoonsbutter
2 ½cupsfrozen blackberriesor any frozen fruit, divided 2 cup and ½ cup portions
⅔ cupchopped pecansor any roasted nut
2cupswhole rolled oats
1teaspoonbaking powder
¾teaspoonsea salt
2largeeggs
1 ¾cupwhole milk
⅓cupsugar
1tablespooncoarse sugaror raw sugar (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Melt butter and set aside to cool.

Lightly grease a 8 x 8 inch baking dish, or any dish that's roughly the same size. Then scatter 2 cups frozen berries, reserving ½ cup for later.
2 ½ cups frozen blackberries
Combine dry ingredients in a medium mixing bowl; pecans, oats, baking powder, and salt. Then pour over frozen berries.
⅔ cup chopped pecans, 2 cups whole rolled oats, 1 teaspoon baking powder, ¾ teaspoon sea salt
In the same medium mixing bowl, crack eggs and stir. Then add sugar, milk and cooled melted butter. Stir to combine and pour over the oat mixture in baking dish.
2 large eggs, 1 ¾ cup whole milk, ⅓ cup sugar
Top with reserved berries and sprinkle with coarse sugar.

Bake, uncovered, until cooked through, browned and slightly puffy, about 45 minutes.
Cool slightly, about 5 minutes. Serve as-is, or topped with Greek yogurt, berries and honey.
