Slime Rickey All Natural Green Cocktail

Slime Rickey's are an all natural green colored update to the classic gin rickey that's perfect served as a halloween cocktail!

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce gin
  • 2 ounces green grape juice
  • ½ ounce lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 2-3 ounces club soda to top
  • 3 grapes optional, peeled for garnish

Instructions

  • Begin by turning fresh grapes into grape juice. Wash grapes and remove stems. Add to a large saucepan and cook over low heat, popping grapes and stirring with a potato masher or large spoon. Cook over low heat until grapes release all their juices. Then use a cheesecloth or nut milk bag to strain out skins and any seeds or stems. Place in glass jar or pitcher and refrigerate up to 3 days.
  • When ready to serve shake green grape juice in a cocktail shaker with ice, gin and lime juice.
  • Pour into a highball glass.
  • Top with club soda to fill.
  • Garnish with a skewer of peeled grapes, or plop a few frozen grapes in the glass.
