Ingredients
2stalksrhubarbabout 1 ½ cups rough chopped or sliced into ribbons
½cupgranulated sugar
½cupwater
Instructions
Wash and prepare rhubarb by roughly chopping into rounds or slicing into ribbons. If rhubarb stalks still have leaves attached remove and discard then wash thoroughly before preparing.

Bring equal parts water and granulated sugar to a boil over medium heat then add rhubarb and simmer slightly.
½ cup granulated sugar, ½ cup water
Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Once cool, remove rhubarb solids and either discard or save for another use.
