A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of being the event photographer at the 7th Annual Kenney Klassik an annual golf tournament benefiting cancer research.
The event was created in 2011 as a way to bring people together to have a good time for a good cause. While there’s lots of laughs and fun on the course, everyone knows that they are also there for something more. All the proceeds are donated to the American Cancer Society, specifically for testicular cancer and “all the lost balls”.
The event creator, Mike Kenney, just so happens to be my brother so I have had the honor of being the event photographer for the last 4 years. It’s a mix of competition and just plain ole fun when you get this group out on the golf course!
And with the beautiful views at the Camaloch Golf Course on Camano Island, WA, it’s easy to photograph.
The best part is this year raised the most yet with over $7,400 going to the American Cancer Society.
Ticket prices include entry into a Custom Golf Cart Contest, catered BBQ lunch, t shirt and raffle tickets! With additional raffle tickets available for purchase.
In addition to the main competition there’s $10,000 hole-in-one, corn hole contest, and more!
